I would recommend establishing a routine! Scientifically 3-5x a week should be the frequency when it comes to establishing a routine. Diet is also extremely important, but the goal isn’t to restrict or starve yourself. Getting in the proper macronutrients & portion control is key! I also recommend enjoying 1-3 cheat meals a week so you have something to look forward to and work to enjoy! In high school I moved from the Chicago area to the Dallas area and I felt out of place, uncomfortable, and not happy with the way I felt or looked. I began working out (without knowing what I was doing) at home. Overtime I became more confident and loved the way I felt after a workout. I fell in love with fitness even more throughout college, became a NASM CPT, and now an Orange Theory coach! I get to help people fall in love with fitness and taking care of their bodies!
If I was the next Ms Health and Fitness, I would put the $20,000 towards my dream of eventually starting a fitness app or program in order to help others fall more in love with fitness, while also helping them keep correct form, understanding which routine is best for them and their lifestyle, as well as healthy eating habits. Sharing my passion and knowledge of fitness in order to help others become the best versions of themselves is the dream!
