Two Things! 1. Pick an activity that you like and enjoy. There are so many ways to get fit and healthy! Doing what you love will help you to commit to the process. 2. At the same time, don't be afraid to try something new! You may be pleasantly surprised to discover something you actually love while also challenging yourself.
I can go on and on about this topic! Beyond feeling strong and promoting longevity, fitness has given me a level of confidence and empowerment I never expected when I first started on this path. But there is also a mental component to the positive influence that's not often seen. When I'm training...it's one of the few times I can get my brain to actually 'shut up'. Being in the moment, focused on the movements or activity...it's a potent reminder that I AM HERE and I AM ENOUGH!
My ultimate goal is to make Fitness a FULLTIME career, so I would use a portion of the winnings to further my education in the Fitness/Wellness field. I would also like to donate some of the money to a charity or two of choice!
