What would you recommend to others who want to be fit and healthy?

The first step is to accept yourself as you are in this moment, find peace with yourself and to be grateful. Then you can begin to focus your time and energy on what you want to achieve. Being fit and healthy has less to do with how you look and more to do with how you feel. In order to achieve high levels of heath and fitness you must learn to listen to your body and learn what specific needs it has that are unique to you. A balanced approach that is sustainable is of upmost importance!

How does fitness positively influence your life?

Fitness has been a gateway to self mastery for me. It’s given me the opportunity to chase and achieve things I never thought possible. Fitness gives me energy not only physically but mentally and emotionally and allows me to share that positive energy with others.

If you were the next Ms Health and Fitness, what would you do with $20,000?

If I was the next Ms Health and Fitness I would donate 100% of the awarded money to a charity that supports the health, wellness and comfort of those who live in underprivileged circumstances. Being healthy is a basic human need. Those of us reaching for higher levels of fitness are extremely fortunate to have the opportunity to do so.
