What would you recommend to others who want to be fit and healthy?

Start little by little, a walk, small hike, a dance class with a friend. Then learn more about food and workouts, everyone it’s different their bodies function different so learning what works for you and your schedule will keep you in track and make everything more manageable and easy to stick to it...

How does fitness positively influence your life?

Fitness changed my life. I have PDK disease so taking control of what I eat and going to the gym for workouts help me be healthier and feel better overall. I am group instructor so being able to inspired someone else thru fitness it’s a big part for me. I am 43 years old and a mother of 3 and I never thought that at this age I will feel as good as I do. It’s never to late to start.

If you were the next Ms Health and Fitness, what would you do with $20,000?

Definitely pay my daughters college classes and travel to a new place. I love learning about people and cultures...
