What would you recommend to others who want to be fit and healthy?

First realize that nothing is easy and give yourself some time to see even a small but meaningful change. Once you feel or see the change realize YOU did that for yourself— Nobody else. Feel that power and realize that you have the power to make any change you want. Hold onto that mindset and make your fitness journey something that empowers you both physically and mentally.

How does fitness positively influence your life?

Fitness has always been a constant for me. Fitness is there when everything else is changing. My workouts are my sanctuary. No matter what is happening in my life I always have my workouts to lose myself in and during that time I find my strength even when sometimes I felt like I had none. Fitness gives me energy not only through keeping my body healthy but through the process of keeping my body strong I find my mental strength follows.

If you were the next Ms Health and Fitness, what would you do with $20,000?

If I become the best Ms. Health and fitness and received $20000 I would use it to work on opening my own business. I have for a long time dreamed of having a small space where I could start to train clients and then watch it grow from there.
