What would you recommend to others who want to be fit and healthy?

I would recommend on really reflecting what their goal is when it comes to their own personal ideas of what it means to be fit and healthy. I would remind them to understand that there is no one size fits all when it comes our health, and being fit doesn't just mean on the outside. Health and fitness is a process thats why setting a SMART goal is really the start, and to remember the process will continue to change as you change on the inside and out.

How does fitness positively influence your life?

Fitness has been the best me time I have gifted myself with; yes I have gotten to be empowered with the changes I have made when it comes to my body. The process of being in the gym and getting work on my thoughts as I rep weight out, has been a mental journey. I have learned how much I truly am capable of and how much I know I could accomplish. It has taught me more in the sense of dedication and adaption, the more I have learned I have seen my style of working out change and with it progress.

If you were the next Ms Health and Fitness, what would you do with $20,000?

I would get to treat my mother & I to an overdue trip away, donate to a cause I truly believed in; and of course save some for a rainy day.
