Ms. Health and Fitness and Jared Allen's Homes for Wounded Warriors would like to thank Christina Adibe and her voters for helping us donate to our injured United States military veterans!

What would you recommend to others who want to be fit and healthy?

I would recommend people who are interested in becoming fit and healthy start with small changes in their daily lives and work towards a goal. Some examples could be increasing daily water intake, doing some daily aerobic activities that you like, substituting unhealthy foods for nutritious foods, getting good sleep at night, and finally surround yourself with like-minded people who provide support and encouragement. Small daily changes become habits, which turns into a lifestyle.

How does fitness positively influence your life?

Fitness has influenced my life in several ways. Fitness has taught me discipline and helped me grow in the sport of bodybuilding. I started bodybuilding 2 years ago because I was just fascinated with how eating clean and training hard could transform your body drastically. I had always been athletic and ate whatever I wanted. But I wanted to challenge myself and take my mind and body to another level with bodybuilding. Fitness is an outlet for me to relieve stress and to set goals for myself.

If you were the next Ms Health and Fitness, what would you do with $20,000?

As the next Ms. Health and Fitness, I would donate a portion of this generous award money to a fit camp for children because I think living a fit life starts from a young age and I want to support programs with the same philosophy. I would also use some of the money to pay off student loans when I was in physician assistant school.
