We are creatures of habit.. .If you are starting from a very unhealthy place, train your mind to think about ADDING healthy things as opposed to depriving yourself- this will start you off in a good mindset. Eventually, adding in all the healthy foods and exercise will become your new habit and your new routine.
Fitness has been my mental health savior. At 30 year old I know I need it to stay sane. If I am frustrated, I lift heavy. If I am too full of energy, I do cardio. If I feel sad, I go for a hike... It can be tailored to every mood; even lazy- yoga!
Honestly, student loans and more education. Nothing better than being strong AND smart!
