Find something that you can be consistent with. Consistency is the key to progress. Set attainable goals, both short term and long term goals. Knowledge is power, learn as much as you can in your fitness journey. Hire a knowledgeable trainer and ask questions. It’s your body you should know what your doing to it and why. Take progress picture so when you feel discouraged or in a slump you can see how far you’ve come. Don’t rely on the numbers in the scale as progress.
It has made me stronger mentally. Physical and mental health go hand in hand. I’ve grown as a person pursuing my fitness goals. It has given me confidence to set higher goals and achieve them. It has helped me further my career as a physical therapist assistant and improved my performance as a volunteer firefighter.
I would invest it in my business and training to get myself to the Olympia.
