My name is Ashley Gomez. I am an Army Wife, Dog Mom,Traveler, Visual/Performing Artist, Latin Dancer, Body Builder/Bikini competitor.
Ms. Health and Fitness and Jared Allen's Homes for Wounded Warriors would like to thank Ashley Gomez and her voters for helping us donate to our injured United States military veterans!
I recommend investing in a professional trainer with a lot of experience. Write down your goals, and ask yourself "Why" and "What" can you do to accomplish those goals. Education is important and so is going into your new fitness journey with a good mindset. Stay positive and most importantly, be patient. Results take time but it will happen in the healthiest way possible. Always remember that you can do anything you set your mind to! Remain focused, inspired, and driven!
Fitness has impacted my life in many ways. When my husband got diagnosed with stage 4 Seminoma Cancer, Fitness was a stress relief for me and going to the gym was my escape. Fitness became a huge motivation to not only be physically stronger but mentally stronger for my family and I. Fitness has become one of my greatest passions. It has brought me many opportunities and lifelong friendships. I look forward to furthering my journey in fitness and the sport of Bodybuilding.
If I were the next Ms Health and Fitness, I would not only donate a portion of the earnings to various Cancer organizations, but also use some of the money toward fertility treatments for my husband and I to be able to have a little family of our own.
