Fitness and nutrition lover. Tennis player who loves training and the outdoors. Working toward NASM certification and a career in fitness.
Ms. Health and Fitness and Jared Allen's Homes for Wounded Warriors would like to thank Anna Wanzek and her voters for helping us donate to our injured United States military veterans!
Fitness comes in small steps. Looking at each day, each meal, each workout as a single piece makes it easier than trying to think about a whole month or year. Find something that makes it fun! Also don't forget you can compete with yourself: forget about everyone else and make your own goals to be your best, healthiest self. Try training, but also try a sport or fun type of exercise that you totally forget you're even doing while you're doing it. Like tennis, volleyball, dancing, bike rides etc.
Fitness has helped me to become more confident. It has also helped me to accept and love my body for what it can do and not just for how it looks. Fitness has also helped me a lot as a stress reliever and energizing agent in life. I also love the fun aspects of sport and competition so it is awesome to be able to set goals and reach them. Fitness is also a way that I can connect with other people. I love to share ideas about new studies, new workouts, nutrition, exercise and health advice.
As Ms Health and Fitness, I plan to use my NASM certification I am working toward to open a private studio gym. I want to train women. I will focus on teaching women healthy outlooks toward fitness and nutrition so they can find life balance and care for their bodies. I would train women who are struggling with body issues and also focus on pre-natal, pregnancy, and post-natal training and recovery for mothers. I also want to possibly start a fitness publication or write a health focused book.
