What would you recommend to others who want to be fit and healthy?

Being healthy shouldn’t mean you being miserable, easting salads, and spending hours in the gym when it doesn’t make you happy. Live a healthy balanced life, surround yourself with positive people, find the workout that fits your liking and enjoy your journey.

How does fitness positively influence your life?

I turned to fitness in the worst times of my life. So much heartbreak happening at once. I felt lost. Once I started it I couldn’t stop. Not only was I getting addicted to seeing physical results, but I was getting addicted to the positive energy. Then helping others stay motivating was a selfish satisfaction of mine also. Fitness saved me mentally. I no longer have time for negativity. Learning to be disciplined and sticking to my goals has shown me I can do anything I set my mind to.

If you were the next Ms Health and Fitness, what would you do with $20,000?

My dream is to finally open up my own studio to be able to hold my boot camp classes and continue changing lives for the better. I would be lying if I said I wouldn’t be selfish enough to use at least half of that money for that. The other half I would use to donate some to my church. (My 10%) and some of the other to pay my school debt. However I would also use some to donate to the children's hospital.
