Being fit & healthy means BALANCE. A healthy outside starts from the inside. You need to fuel your body right with GOOD nutrition, then get moving. Exercise...include weights. Take care of YOU...find ways to relax & destress like spending time outside or enjoying a hobby. Try to get 7-9hrs sleep so your body can recover. You don’t need to be perfect to start...just start somewhere. Track your progress. CELEBRATE weekly WINS & reflect where you can improve. ENJOY the journey.
Fitness saved my life! A texting driver totaled my car. Doctors wrote me off saying I’d NEVER do gymnastics, dance...let alone weight train again. But, I FOUGHT back! I had extensive rehab for over 1yr, endured dry needling 3 times a week, taking small steps with a vision to return to normal. At first, it was just foam rolling & stretching. But, each day I felt BLESSED to be up & walking! With hard work & dedication, I not only got EVERYTHING back, but I’m STRONGER now!
I love helping others succeed & smile! I’d use the money to help my non-profit Sadie Paws Mission. It’s a therapy dog program that helps others who are struggling as I was. We take specially trained dogs into hospitals, nursing homes, make house calls to seniors & vets...even go into schools to work with exceptional students & those needing a little extra emotional support. We recently started PAWS to END Hunger to make sure no one goes without food.
