Ms. Health and Fitness and Jared Allen's Homes for Wounded Warriors would like to thank Amy Rahmer and her voters for helping us donate to our injured United States military veterans!
You have to give yourself obtainable goals, and stay consistent. Progress takes time and the only person who can hold you accountable is yourself. You are stronger than you think and will be amazed on what you can accomplish. Make gym friends, they will understand the struggle because we have all started from the bottom. They can teach you so much and most people I have met, have become my gym family.
I was diagnosed with Depression and Anxiety at a young age, and for many years it dictated my life. Fitness gave me the power to take back control of my life. It has not only given me strength physically, but mentally as well. I have broken through limits I thought were impossible, learned to be comfortable being uncomfortable, and constantly proving to myself that I am in control.
I would love to be able to take my family on a vacation. Thank them for always supporting me and pushing me to pursue my goals. It would also allow me to continue my fitness passion and help me to continue to compete to one day hit my overall goal of earning my Pro card in the NPC figure world.
