What would you recommend to others who want to be fit and healthy?

Being fit and healthy is only accomplished through consistency. Making small, maintainable, achievable goals and lifestyle changes. But, it has to be FUN! Go run on the beach, play soccer, walk with your friends. It all adds up. Do the little things, and they become big changes! We can regain our health, energy, feeling beautiful and sexy by making little choices of, "I'm going to do better so I AM better!"

How does fitness positively influence your life?

When I get up early or make that time in the afternoon, when I dedicate an hour to me, it helps establish in my life, my priorities that I am important to ME! If I can take care of myself and do something hard, I feel more empowered to overcome the other difficulties I face throughout the day.

If you were the next Ms Health and Fitness, what would you do with $20,000?

I am super excited about empowering young women. I would love to write a book that focuses on the power of balance between life, stress, relationships, and reaching your goals! The money would help me to do write and publish the book as well as put me in a place to help others struggling with self-esteem, motivation, and courage to take on their lives!
