What would you recommend to others who want to be fit and healthy?

It's all mental. The journey has notihng to do with what the scale says. You have to start by mentally geting in the zone. Surround yourself with positive likeminded healthy individuals. Support is everything! Daily positive affrimations, telling yourself you can do this even when you feel like you cant. If you can menatlly tap into a healthy mindset the body will follow.

How does fitness positively influence your life?

For me fitness equals confidence. I was a painfully shy girl from a small southern town. My first intro to fitness was competitive cheer. I did it in the 8th-12th grade to help break out of my shy shell. It was life changing! After cheer I wanted to remain active and went on to coaching gymnastics for 7 years. Being able to help build young girls confdeince is a huge blessing. The confidence Ive gotten through fitness is now allowing me to help other women tap into thiers.

If you were the next Ms Health and Fitness, what would you do with $20,000?

I would want to give back to underprivileged girls. I grew up with a single mom and I know what its like to not always have the resoruces that you need for extra curricular actives. Giving them the skills that they need to become healthy, successful, and confident women would be my ultimate goal.
