What would you recommend to others who want to be fit and healthy?

Not every day is going to be easy but, each time you push through what may feel impossible you get one step closer to your goal! You will face barriers throughout your journey so always try to remember that it isn't about how far you have to go, it's about how far you've come. Being healthy means taking care of yourself mentally, emotionally and physically as well. It's important to balance and take care of all these components to truly achieve a healthy lifestyle.

How does fitness positively influence your life?

Being physically fit and healthy allows me to live a happier life with more purpose. When I was overweight a simple task such as walking up a flight of stairs left me out of breath and feeling out shape! After investing my time and energy in to my health I noticed changes in my energy, mood and my ability to engage in more activities. Fitness has influenced my life in the best way possible as setting goals and reaching new limits has made me a stronger person mentally and physically!

If you were the next Ms Health and Fitness, what would you do with $20,000?

As a recent graduate at the University of Winnipeg I obtained my Criminal Justice Degree. Throughout my University years I took an interest in Criminal Law and proceeded to focus my studies in the area of Law. I am currently in the process of studying for and writing my Law School Admission Test and applying to study at the Faculty of Law. If I were the next Ms. Health and Fitness I would use the $20,000 to put myself through Law school at the University of Manitoba.
