Do what you enjoy to stay fit! This could be hiking, yoga, lifting weights, or dancing.. the effort is easier when you like what you’re doing! I also recommend starting with small steps. Big lifestyle changes don't happen over night and making small daily changes to your routine will make a big difference over time. Some small initial steps may be walking every day, drinking more water, getting more sleep or eating more greens. Master one habit at a time. You’re on your way!
When I exercise, I feel at peace in the present moment. It gives me clarity, focus, happiness & confidence. The influence is so great that I’ve established a 5am cardio routine to mentally prepare myself for the day. Competing as an IFBB Bikini Professional has allowed me to establish structure, discipline, a deep knowledge of my body and a strong desire to be better in all aspects of my life.
If I were the next Ms Health and Fitness, I would use the money to establish a health and fitness centered community outreach initiative. This would help educate people on the importance of their own health & fitness by explaining what it means to live a fit lifestyle, giving the necessary tools on how to realistically make this lifestyle change and providing opportunities to act on it. Helping others discover the amazing benefits of health & fitness would be truly fulfilling!
