Its easy to get overwhelmed especially since there’s so much information out there but I suggest picking a small goal first. For instance, eating healthier. Grocery shop 1-2 times a week & cook in bulk. Lean protein, lots of veggies & simple carbohydrates. Once you get into a routine with that you can focus on your workout regimen or working towards that body building show you’ve always wanted to do. Also, never give up! Progress takes time & consistency!How does fitness positively influence your life?
I honestly don’t know where I would be if I didn’t have the gym to go to when I needed a stress reliever. I was always active growing up, dance, competitive soccer & gymnastics. I didn’t get into lifting until after spending years in treatment facilities for Anorexia Nervosa, anxiety & depression. A family friend suggested I start working with a personal trainer so I could view food as fuel & not my enemy. I would save it & put it towards my dream of opening my own gym some day! Helping others achieve their goals makes my heart soar. I want to influence young girls & women who might be struggling with body image issues or even dealing with an eating disorder.
