Q&A

What would you recommend to others who want to be fit and healthy?

Find something you love. Fitness comes in different forms; it doesn’t just have to consist of lifting. Try aerial yoga, kickboxing, paddleboarding—something you know you will stick with. Don’t limit yourself to the extreme when it comes to your nutrition, find a way to incorporate things you enjoy. People try to be so strict when it comes to nutrition that they fall off easily. Make a few small changes and slowly work from there; don’t try to change everything at once.

How does fitness positively influence your life?

Not only does fitness give me an outlet but it also gives me something to work towards. It pushes me out of my comfort zone and makes me do things I didn’t think I could do before. It has made me grow into the strong, confident, independent woman I am today.

If you were the next Ms Health and Fitness, what would you do with $20,000?

I would use the platform that I receive and the earnings to helps others with their fitness journeys. I want to help influence a positive change in others lives. Making an impact on the fitness industry would be the greatest opportunity I could receive.
