Ms. Health and Fitness and Jared Allen's Homes for Wounded Warriors would like to thank Stacey Wohl-Corbin and her voters for helping us donate $179,724.93 to our injured United States military veterans!

What would you recommend to others who want to be fit and healthy?

To focus on the foods you are eating daily. They play such a big role in not just how we look but how we feel and the biggest part to any fit lifestyle and to be healthy overall. Especially when it comes to any chronic disease or illness, the way we eat is how we heal.

How does fitness positively influence your life?

It helps me stay me! With hashimotos and hypothyroidism you always feel like you’re so behind everyone else especially constantly being told we won’t be able to lose weight by doctors and many other restrictions. My lifestyle helps me not have any thyroid symptoms and helps me to live my life as me and not someone who just feels trapped in their own body with all of the added pain caused by thyroid issues.

If you were the next Ms Health and Fitness, what would you do with $20,000?

I would make my lifestyle better by finding a great naturopathic doctor to work with to get me to 100% and expand my business so I can reach out to more people who need help and be able to offer more support groups to help people with the mental part of lifestyle changes and healing our bodies regardless of they suffer from chronic illness or not. I want to be put on that cover to show others like me who feel so discouraged and lost that you can do anything regardless of what holds you back!
