To focus on yourself. What works for others, may not work for you. Get to know your own body -- what foods work for it and what foods do not. There is no one size fits all "right" diet, but everyone can realize better health with less processed food and more vegetables. Find a form of exercise that you enjoy and/or are able to sustain by trying everything at least once. Don't be intimidated by what you see on social media. Every little bit of change counts to a healthier you!!How does fitness positively influence your life?
I discovered fitness at age 20 and it was what defined "me," but after being completely disabled and bedridden for 7 months with a cerebral spinal fluid leak and a VERY long post-surgical recovery, keeping a fit lifestyle was a necessity in order to heal and to be able to do very basic things again. The fitter I have become, the more dreams I have been able to fulfill. It has been small steps, but I will never take health for granted again!If you were the next Ms Health and Fitness, what would you do with $20,000?
