I recommend starting slowly. It’s not going to happen overnight. Changing too much at one time is detrimental to your success. Find something that you LIKE to do & start there. You truly do need to make it a lifestyle change, but it doesn’t have to be drastic to be effective. Maybe you start by taking the stairs at work, or replacing your afternoon soda with water. The little steps start to add up and soon it becomes routine.How does fitness positively influence your life?
As a wife, mom of two & business owner, fitness is the glue that holds it all together. My husband travels 2-3 weeks every month & some days I feel overwhelmed with all the responsibilities on my plate when he’s gone. I use my fitness routine as an outlet. I will go for a run to clear my head, lift weights to work through stress & stretch to decompress. It also helped me work through some serious postpartum anxiety giving me pieces of myself back slowly but surely.If you were the next Ms Health and Fitness, what would you do with $20,000?
I am the owner of The Simply Fit Studio, a boutique studio on the north shore of MA. My dream was to create a community of women who inspire, uplift and support one another in their health and fitness goals. The women that walk through the doors aren’t just a number to me, they are family. I would use the $20,000 to invest into the studio, to bring these women the classes, workshops and programs that help them realize the amazing capability the have to be anything they want!
