What would you recommend to others who want to be fit and healthy?

Number 1. Start with something you think would be fun and try to do it 3/4 times a week. It does not necessarily have to be the gym if you dread going! If you like to dance, try Zumba, if you played sports in highschool, take up tennis or club soccer. If zen is your thing.. try yoga! If you enjoy it, it will not feel like a chore. Number 2. Start with Small dietary changes, maybe start focusing on lowering sugar intake (looking at labels) or increasing frequency of small meals daily.

How does fitness positively influence your life?

Fitness equates to positive mind and spirit. It gives me a bigger picture to focus on bettering myself rather then always looking for satisfaction through food. Ever since starting bikini competitions, I have truly had a long term goal that drives me each day to work harder. The daily endorphins help overcome my work struggles and seek comfort of having “me” time every day to unwind.

If you were the next Ms Health and Fitness, what would you do with $20,000?

It is my dream to become an IFBB pro and compete in the Olympia. It is a very expensive journey and would use the money to better myself but also motivate others who reach out to me for nutritional and fiitness guidance. I would also love to travel abroad and start a media platform on how to balance travel with health and food by sharing diverse experiences of health, culture, and exercise.
