Q&A

What would you recommend to others who want to be fit and healthy?

For someone who wants to be fit and healthy, I would recommend he/she start small. Make a few small goals and an overall goal. Rome was not built in a day and change takes time and determination. You have to want it for yourself and do activities that make you happy.

How does fitness positively influence your life?

Fitness has positively influenced my life in so many ways. I had multiple knee injuries as a young athlete and that sparked my interest in strength training. It's truly a blessing to walk into the gym and to not only set goals for myself and work to crush them, but to also help others do the same. As a personal trainer each session is building towards something bigger and better. I've found my own confidence and strength in the gym and I try to help my clients find their inner beast mode, too.

If you were the next Ms Health and Fitness, what would you do with $20,000?

If I were the next Ms. Health and Fitness and won $20,000, I would invest it into my business to better serve by clients and also give back to my community. I would be able to hold more bootcamps and nutrition seminars to educate those in my community. I would also help with any financial barriers that my clients had so they could live their best and healthiest life.
