What would you recommend to others who want to be fit and healthy?

Fitness and health should not be seen as just another "chore" or "process." Instead, one should view leading a healthy lifestyle as a goal to improve your overall wellbeing! I believe that by having a goal; a drive - a passion for something, it ignites a burning desire to constantly challenge yourself; to become a better version of your current self!

How does fitness positively influence your life?

As simple as it sounds, fitness has taught me how to be a strong woman. Every time I step foot into the gym, I gain a sense of mental & physical accreditation. By setting aside time each day, I am improving myself, for myself. Health promotes positivity. Although hard at first, if you perform one simple thing daily to help improve your quality of life, little by little, it will start to add up! The better you feel about your body, the more positive you'll feel! The inner you will shine!

If you were the next Ms Health and Fitness, what would you do with $20,000?

I am currently enrolled in a master's program for nursing education. My vision is to open up a Wellness Center and intertwine my love for health and fitness with my experience and knowledge as a registered nurse. I hope to use the $20,000 to cultivate an environment that empowers women to make simple, maintainable healthy choices! I hope to promote women to take small steps towards living a healthier, happier, and simpler life - physically and emotionally.
