What would you recommend to others who want to be fit and healthy?

What you think, you become; your mind is your greatest power. This is about YOU. No one else. It’s about waking up everyday with a desire to do the best that YOU can. It’s about outlining your goals and dreams and realising that anything is achievable. If your goal is to lose weight, run 5 km, create a healthier lifestyle for your family or enhance your performance in your desired sport, you must first believe that it is possible. Start small, create new habits and remain consistent.

How does fitness positively influence your life?

Fitness has influenced my life in countless ways. Pushing myself to be mentally and physically fit each day for my members, has allowed me to be more mindful and not let a second pass by without gratitude and presence. Fitness has been my gateway into the lives of hundreds of clients who have inspired me and graciously included me in their lifelong journey of wellness. From new mothers to varsity athletes, fitness has given me the platform to spread and absorb empowerment for all.

If you were the next Ms Health and Fitness, what would you do with $20,000?

For many, in the context of health and fitness, finances can act as a barrier to achieving personal goals and living a healthy lifestyle. An overarching goal of my entrepreneurial journey is to create accessible and affordable health and wellness options. Much of the profit from my startup has returned to improve my programming and offer a viable alternative for individuals seeking a life change, seeking to enhance the mental, physical, and emotional aspects of life.
