Natalie Aneil Benson

Although I’m multifaceted, I would say I’m best described as a mother, entrepreneur, and resilient.

What would you recommend to others who want to be fit and healthy?

It’s never too late to be fit and healthy. It’s all about living a healthy lifestyle and having a great mindset. The main thing is knowing your “why” and the ability to pick up where you left off when you get off track... and you will so find what motivates you and keep pushing yourself! Whether it’s a friend or a picture of someone you admire that’s a great start to give you that extra nudge to stay or get back on track. Age should never be a factor as to why

How does fitness positively influence your life?

Fitness influences me because I have people who look up to me for motivation and inspiration. I take that and use it to keep me going. I love motivating and helping others. Life is not always full of smiles, so if I can help make someone’s day and help them reach they’re goals it helps push me to reach mine.

If you were the next Ms Health and Fitness, what would you do with $20,000?

I would open my dream fitness studio! It would be a place that caters to everyone from all walks of life who might not feel as comfortable in the usual gym setting. I’d also reach out to young ladies and encourage them to be more comfortable within their own skin despite what society considers to be “perfect”. Having struggled with self esteem issues myself growing up, I feel that my dream studio would foster an environment that will allow me to motivate and encourage women.
