What would you recommend to others who want to be fit and healthy?

I first would suggest to anyone getting started on their fitness journey to work on their nutrition first. So many want to livethe healthy lifestyle but they fail because of the diet they start with. Don't go extreme especially if this is your weak area. Start by making little changes by removing bad items out of of your diet. Every 2 weeks or so revisit your nutrition and continue removing bad foods and replace it with something healthier.

How does fitness positively influence your life?

Fitness is my escape on bad days, my pick me up on sad days and my therapy on stressful days. It has given me purpose to also share and encourage others on ways they can live a healthy lifestyle. Mainly focusing on mothers who feel life is too busy and achieving a weight loss after baby is impossible the natural way. Fitness has definitely changed my life.

If you were the next Ms Health and Fitness, what would you do with $20,000?

I would first make my own donation to the wounded warrior foundation as a member of the organization and former service member I believe in paying it forward. I would also use the money to help my fitness business: create a better online coaching platform for anyone to access. To also lease a building that’s equipped to help bring fitness to those in my near.
