What would you recommend to others who want to be fit and healthy?

It all starts in your mind; exercise it just like any other muscle! You’re innately strong and capable of more than you can imagine! Once you begin to leverage the power of your mental strength and the love you have within, you’ll naturally begin to make choices that align with your health and fitness goals! You’ll begin to feel empowered, inspired, and unstoppable! (and I want that for you!)

How does fitness positively influence your life?

Fitness, for me, is holistic - mind, body, and beyond. When I physically feel my best, I gain more mental clarity, confidence, and courage; I feel empowered to make choices in alignment with what I truly want in all areas of my life. Alternatively, a “fit” mind allows me to stay true to my wellness goals during life’s struggles. If you were the next Ms Health and Fitness, what would you do with $20,000?

I’d work to change the face of fitness from being externally focused to include the inner, too! I’ve been dreaming of a Coaching business that would bring the practice of mindfulness and self-love to more people dealing with high stress and traumas (i.e. corporate workplaces, veterans, jails, and even schools). I’d use the winnings to invest in that mission: create content, connect and share, and continue to expand. I’d help people heal their body, rewire their thoughts,
