What would you recommend to others who want to be fit and healthy?

Being fit and healthy does not just involve your body, it involves your mind as well. If you focus on connecting your mind to your body and really nail down what your short-term and long-term goal is, you will find a deeper motivation. Your mind plays a HUGE part in your motivation, so make your mindset a priority by finding what makes you happy, excited and ready to get after it!

How does fitness positively influence your life?

It allows me to focus only internally for 1-2 hours out of my day. Having that 1-hour session refocusses my mind to feel happy and put together in all other parts of my life. My focus at work increases, as well as my happiness around friends and family.

If you were the next Ms Health and Fitness, what would you do with $20,000?

I would put this towards my dream fitness business. I love helping others and seeing women find a new love for their body and mind, so using part of this money to provide them with well thought out plans. I have also had a dream of volunteering in Africa, so using some of this money for the travel would be a dream.
