What would you recommend to others who want to be fit and healthy?

Make goals, write them down & a step by step plan to execute them. It’s important to dream big but not make goals too big that they are unachieveable & cause you to get discouraged. I think it’s important to start small & work your way up. Small victories lead to big victories! And always remember to enjoy the journey! You are in control of your happiness so if you’re not having fun, Reassess your goals, stay positive & try something else! Consistency is key!

How does fitness positively influence your life?

Fitness is everything in my life. It’s my release when I’m stressed or upset. It gives me discipline & structure when I feel like my life is disorganized. And it gives me a scene of fulfillment when I achieve a goal. Being a busy wife & mom to 2 young kids is hectic & some times it’s hard to get “me time”. Fitness has given me that & so much more. New friends, improved relationships & helping others has made me better both in & out of the gym

If you were the next Ms Health and Fitness, what would you do with $20,000?

Winning Ms Health and fitness would be an absolute dream come true! I would definitely want to use that money to continue perusing my passion for helping others. It’s been a goal of mine to some day open a gym that caters to other women & moms. I know as a wife & mother myself, we tend to put ourselves on the back burner. I want to help others get themselves back, feel confident & feel healthy. I want to be a mentor, a motivator & an inspiration!
