As a mom and business owner fitness is my way of not only de-stressing but also ensuring that I remain healthy and strong for as long as possible. Unfortunately we cannot age backwards. And when we have children we must strive to be the best role model so that they also learn to make better choices and stay active. I always feel a deep sense of appreciation for what my body can do because as I tell my fitness class participants and clients: Not everyone gets to workout!If you were the next Ms Health and Fitness, what would you do with $20,000?
One of my passions is being able to help others. I’ve had the privilege of traveling abroad with Habitat for Humanity to build homes from the ground up. I would love the opportunity to continue to bless them and other charities I’m involved with at a deeper level.
