Start by setting goals- both long & short. Set tangible, realistic goals that can be broken down into smaller, achievable goals. Create an action plan & STICK TO IT. You're going to fall off here and there, it happens, the key is not letting it keep you down. If you fall off, get back up and keep going- 1 step back, 5 steps forward. Lastly, remember that your body is not Amazon Prime! Good things TAKE TIME, you can't achieve your goals within 1-2 business days ;)How does fitness positively influence your life?
I think the coolest thing about fitness being such a driving force in my life is the positive, second-hand effect it has on those around me. My passion for fitness has not just benefitted me internally and externally, but it has allowed me to positively influence friends, family, co-workers, and even strangers! Fitness has allowed me to help myself and others, and that is hands-down one of the best, most positive aspects of having fitness in my life. I would start by using a portion of the money to donate to some of my favorite nonprofit organizations specializing in before/after school physical education & nutrition programs for children. As well, I would use a portion to expand my knowledge and skills in the health & fitness world by pursuing more nationally accredited certifications. Lastly, I would set aside a chunk to put towards gym equipment for my dream of opening a home gym to train my clients in!
