What would you recommend to others who want to be fit and healthy?

Find a fun group of people to work out with! I train with an awesome group of women every week and the support and laughter they provide is immeasurable. If you are having fun and enjoy the company you keep, you are more likely to be consistent.

How does fitness positively influence your life?

When I began my fitness journey, I was struggling with an eating disorder. I defined my worth by a number on a scale and that was no way to live. I was introduced to the sport of Strongman and it has been the most physically and mentally empowering activity I have ever been a part of. My desire to be stronger replaced my desire to be skinny. I became confident and built myself up, inside and out. I started strongman 4 years ago and I have been relapse free ever since!

If you were the next Ms Health and Fitness, what would you do with $20,000?

I would put the money towards Nursing School. I would like to become a Certified Eating Disorder Registered Nurse. This is a decision that is fueled by my desire to help those who are suffering to find hope and the strength to overcome the very issues I faced.
