What would you recommend to others who want to be fit and healthy?

Find what you love and DO IT! You truly succceed when you find a workout and eating plan that you LOVE and makes you feel good. I am not a runner or weight lifter, I found dance and Aerial in my mid twenties and have been in love ever since, fueling my workouts with the best food so I can overcome the next challenge. I am in my thirties and the happiest and healthiest I have ever been.

How does fitness positively influence your life?

It has connected me to a large community of amazing women in my area. We all laugh, literally “hang out” doing Aerial together, and have so much fun exploring our strength and beauty in dance and Aerial movement. I have met the most incredibly strong women in the last 5 years of my life.

If you were the next Ms Health and Fitness, what would you do with $20,000?

I would invest it into the studio - Kama Fitness - and our next location. We have to find a new place for our studio within the next year as our mill building we currently occupy has been bought by a local university , and this money would help out our community tremendously in building our our next location so we can keep up the amazing group of empowered women we have.
