Don't go for fad diets , try to slowly change and improve your habits. Be more active, go for an extra walk or use the stairs every time you can. Trust the process! If you change your mind you don't have to diet for the rest of your life. If you are not familiar with what kind of foods and what exercises are more appropriate for your goals, try to get professional advice , at least once in your lifetime. I used to be the cardio bunny , spent more than 40 minutes everyday in a elliptical machine trying to burn as much calories as possible. I had a good and healthy body, don't get me wrong, but still was restricting myself too much when it came to food. When I started lifting weights, in less than 6 months my body changed quite a lot (for better!). I could see my muscles, I had more energy and I had to eat twice as much to maintain my body weight. It was the best decision I've ever made.If you were the next Ms Health and Fitness, what would you do with $20,000?
I have 3 goals in my life. One for travelling, one for fitness and one for my career. Travelling: Go to the Maldives Fitness: Finish a Marathon Career: Try to help as much people as possible to understand that having healthy habits, being active and eating well is amazing, and will change your life forever! With the $20k I would put towards my trip and towards my business, by giving workshops and explaining how easy and fun a healthy lifestyle is all about!
