What would you recommend to others who want to be fit and healthy?

You have to find a system that works for you. Like I always tell my clients, if you hate carrots and I tell you to eat carrots, you're not going to do it. Of course, there's a line and you'll need to do the things you've never done to get the results you want, but I believe there's a system for everyone. Find the strategies that work for you and stick to those strategies until you reach those goals. You only get one life, make it awesome! I'd love to hear from you! Instagram: @coachjessrose

How does fitness positively influence your life?

When my father passed away as a result of his own poor health habits, I decided I wanted something different for myself. I lost 30 lbs and decided to commit my life to getting other people healthy. It's an amazing thing to see someone happy and in love with their body. I want that for everyone! When you're happy with your body your whole perspective changes, you're happier, and I believe the entire world benefits.

If you were the next Ms Health and Fitness, what would you do with $20,000?

The $20,000 would be put towards buying more equipment for my personal training clients. Having the right tools for the right exercise is crucial and there are a number of exercises I'll be able to add to my sessions when I have some more equipment - like heavier Sandbags, Kettlebells, DB's - ya know, all the things that we need to get stronger!
