Make it a lifestyle. You need to find balance to make things work long term. (I personally love IIFYM for this in terms of nutrition!) Start with small changes & let them become habit. But the number 1 thing is you need to ENJOY what you are doing. Do not see eating well & exercise as a form of punishment. Fitness for me started as just getting some 'me time'. It can be hard being switched on all of the time as a mother, business owner & partner. But as you begin to see results it becomes something that really sets a fire burning! Watching yourself achieve something that you once considered impossible is such an empowering feeling. Fitness is not just about aesthetics for me. I love to see what my body is capable off & have met some incredible people through my journey!If you were the next Ms Health and Fitness, what would you do with $20,000?
The number 1 thing I would love to do is begin the process to becoming a Personal Trainer. I have wanted to be a pt for a long time but financially it isn't something that would be in the near future. I love interacting with people & love fitness so the 2 come hand in hand with personal training. Regardless of winning, I will make sure that one day I will be helping others reach their personal goals & feel fantastic in their own skin!
