What would you recommend to others who want to be fit and healthy?

Knowing exactly what your fitness & health goals are & the type of lifestyle you live is very key. Be realistic with yourself, if you’re not a morning person at all then don’t try to force yourself to do a 5am/6am workout daily because then it won’t be enjoyable for yourself & you won’t accomplish much. Fitness is suppose to be fun not frustrating.

How does fitness positively influence your life?

Fitness has positively influenced my life tremendously because it’s helped me find my voice. My entire life growing up I was constantly compared to other people including my own sisters. I felt like I didn’t know who I truly was because I never felt up to par with everyone else. Then I realized the only thing I knew I could make right was my own body. Fitness instilled in me the ability to challenge myself past my own limits and strive to be even better every single day.

If you were the next Ms Health and Fitness, what would you do with $20,000?

winning the $20,000 would truly change my life & the like of so many other people. My biggest dream is to open up my own gym called FAB- Fitness & Beyond. I want to help other people experience what their body is capable of & make them feel confident about themselves. I want to be able to use my life experience and knowledge in fitness & health to make a difference in other people’s lives for the rest of my own life & that $20,000 will help me do just that
