What would you recommend to others who want to be fit and healthy?

Find something you can do consistently. Find something that you can be passionate about and something that pushes you outside of your comfort zone. I focus on functional fitness for my clients and being a better overall athlete. We do weightlifting, running, bodyweight movements, mobility and flexibility. With my help, I can train you to workout safely and efficiently while giving you the accountability you need to continue pushing forward!

How does fitness positively influence your life?

Fitness has given me so many opportunities in my life. It gives people something to work for and constantly strive to be better with. I love to coach others and give them the motivation to continue their fitness journey. I love to motivate and be motivated. It’s the first thing on my mind- the workout is usually going to be the hardest thing you do all day, which in return makes everything easier to deal with. Fitness has changed my life, and I love watching it change the lives around me!

If you were the next Ms Health and Fitness, what would you do with $20,000?

I own my own personal training business called Kaizen Private Training. If I were to win the $20,000, I would put it into building a bigger gym to hold more athletes and host more events for my community. The fitness community here in Virginia Beach, VA is amazing and I would like to be able to give back!
