What would you recommend to others who want to be fit and healthy?

One day at a time! Seriously! I’m half way through my fitness transformation - I’m far from the “result”, but started February this year and have lost 25lb since then and gained tons of strength & confidence. It’s a long way to go, but keep in mind, your choices today will affect your tomorrow. Don’t look for results - but trust the process! And please, don’t eliminate carbs, prots or fat! You need it all!

How does fitness positively influence your life?

I don’t know how it does not influence me. Last year I got stuck in a funk with a bad lifestyle, low self esteem and just feeling unmotivated. After changing my way of thinking, taking responsibility for my body & health, not only is my body getting back in shape and my confidence better, but I have unlimited energy, and best of all - I believe in my self again.

If you were the next Ms Health and Fitness, what would you do with $20,000?

Oh! First of all, I would get myself some weightlifting shoes! And a belt! Besides that, I would invest some of the money into my fitness training, and finally be able to cut down my survival job so I can focus on getting a fitness trainer certificate and spend the next few months living in the gym! 🙌 ( oh! And honestly, with all that money I would probably get myself a massage as well, haha!)
