Find something that you enjoy and make it a part of your lifestyle wether it be running, kickboxing, cycling, yoga, obstacle course races, weight lifting, etc... I was diagnosed with GAD (Generalized Anxiety Disorder) about 7- 8 years ago. Fitness has been what has helped me manage and kept me from having frequent anxiety attacks. I don't look at it as it's something I HAVE to do. I look at it as it's something I GET to do! It's truly a blessing to have the ability mentally and physically to get out there and do what I love!If you were the next Ms Health and Fitness, what would you do with $20,000?
I would donate a portion to liveyourdream.org a site that helps empower women and girls dedicated to ensuring every woman and girl has the opportunity to reach her full potential, be free from violence, and live her dreams. I would also use it to help buy a home for my family.
