What would you recommend to others who want to be fit and healthy?

Some women approach health and fitness through crash dieting or over-exercising. A woman’s body is more than just a ‘before and after’ photo – we need to learn to love ourselves both inside and out. To be fit and healthy, it’s important to first understand why this is important to you, and what values and core beliefs you are trying to fulfill. True transformation and a fit and healthy lifestyle start from the inside.

How does fitness positively influence your life?

My career as a professional handball player taught me self-discipline, persistence, and strength. By pushing my body to extreme limits, I also built mental strength. For me, these fitness skills are crucial to my personal well-being, and are an important part of my life. I believe that fitness is a part of holistic living, and I use it as a form of meditation – to create time for myself and to help me deal with any obstacles in my path. Fitness is a way of life for me.

If you were the next Ms Health and Fitness, what would you do with $20,000?

I want to share my passion for Health and Fitness globally. So I would invest in high quality content to help educate and touch as many women’s lives as possible, helping them to make positive life changes. The money would help me create a holistic health program that women can use to create and personalise their own program, addressing root causes and creating new, healthy habits. After all, when it comes to Health and Fitness, one size does not fit all!
