Living life w/passion through fitness! Inspiring others to be their "best versions". Living with No excuses! #FibromyalgiaWarrior
Ms. Health and Fitness and Jared Allen's Homes for Wounded Warriors would like to thank Claudia "CC" Collazo and her voters for helping us donate $179,724.93 to our injured United States military veterans!
You have to know your "WHY?" - What is your why? It is important to live with purpose, and that includes fitness. My children (being their role model) and the fear of being a burden in my old age - was MY WHY! You won't always be motivated so you have to stay focused! I also recommend setting goals! Set small measurable goals to lead to a bigger goal! Those goals don't always need to be aesthetic! If you've always wanted to do a pull-up; then let's work on it! You get out, what you puHow does fitness positively influence your life?
Fitness gave me my life back after it was robbed by the pain and exhaustion of Fibromyalgia, I was reduced to a shell of the "super mom/woman" I was. I opted out of pharmaceutical medicine, and went for health & fitness instead. Fitness isn't a fad, it's a lifestyle and mine revolves it because I feel and live better as a result--and as a bonus, I look better in my 40s than I did in my 30s! If I could bottle up the feeling and energy I have, I would share it with the world. If you were the next Ms Health and Fitness, what would you do with $20,000?
I would use the $20K to invest in furthering my knowledge and fitness education; attend seminars and obtain new certifications. As I believe life is better helping others, in addition to Wounded Warrior Project, I would also like to donate to Kaboom.org (rebuilding play spaces for kids in abandoned or destroyed areas) and Canines for Disabled Kids (caninesforkids.org - provides service dogs for kids in need).
