What would you recommend to others who want to be fit and healthy?

To find something you love and stick with it. Don't focus on how you look. Focus on your passion whether it be running, weightlifting or yoga, everything else will just fall into place.

How does fitness positively influence your life?

Fitness is my saving grace. I was really depressed and overwhelmed before I started working out. Since I began working out, I have more energy, I have more confidence and I have self love. Since day 1, I have lost 60 lbs and started competitively running obstacle course races. I feel as if I could do anything and running is the one place my mind is free to think about anything or nothing at all.

If you were the next Ms Health and Fitness, what would you do with $20,000?

If I was to win $20,000 I would be able to really focus in on my training and push to compete world wide in racing. I also love bringing new people into my life style and bring first timers on to the race course and this would help me to do so. I love watching the confidence change of someone who crosses the finish line of a race they didn't even believe they could start.
