What would you recommend to others who want to be fit and healthy?

For other moms, women and even younger girls who are looking to be healthy and fit, I would suggest that they have a plan. The plan doesn't have to be crazy or even difficult, but just having a 30-45 minute block on your calendar that is dedicated to movement everyday will help. I would also remind everyone, which I am a huge advocate on social media about, is to listen to your body and remember your body is different from everyother body and embrace it. I have thighs and I have accepted that.

How does fitness positively influence your life?

Fitness is a stress-buster for me. I honestly do have a fitness regime because I want to tone and feel great about my body and have amazing energy but at the end of the day it's also an hour to myself to listen to music, or just be in silence and collect my head. I find it not only strengthens my body but it strengthens my mind and my ability to do and give more back to my family and community. It makes me a better mom and leader within our organization.

If you were the next Ms Health and Fitness, what would you do with $20,000?

If I am the next Ms. Health and Fitness the $20k would be going towards the development of a app or workout website (I'm not techy so I'm not sure which route to take) that I would be able to share fitness with moms & women around the world to show them how they too can have the benefits of health & fitness with or without the gym. I want to share this with everyone & anyone & let them know they too can access an amazing resource no judgment - all encouragement and love.
