What would you recommend to others who want to be fit and healthy?

Find what works best for you and your schedule and your personality. Weight lifting and gyms are not for everyone. I have worked in a gym for 8 years now and training people and will even tell some of them go outside or go play a sport or go do yoga or Zumba. Find your passion and happy place and follow it and weight will follow. You have to be happy and relaxed and comfortable and open to new ideas to fully become a healthy, fit, and happy person. To become the best version of yourself.

How does fitness positively influence your life?

Fitness has been a major staple of my life. Fitness was the way to clear my head and focus on what was important. All my stresses and worries would be out on the gym floor and I would feel refreshed and ready for my next daily challenge. Fitness was always the center of my life and kept me grounded and out of trouble.

If you were the next Ms Health and Fitness, what would you do with $20,000?

I would love to use part of that finances to take a vacation with my mom since we have not had a vacation together since I was 4 years old and she hasn’t been anywhere really since. She has done so much for me and I just want a way to thank her and show her how grateful I am. She had back surgery 2 years ago and doesn’t get around much so a trip would be amazing!
