What would you recommend to others who want to be fit and healthy?

That it all starts internally: you have to believe you are worthy of what you want & deserve. If you can consistently carry this mentality through every action & obstacle, you'll become fit & healthy. Fit: you'll learn how to fuel & nourish your body, the vehicle for your life. You'll feel the results of matching input to output. And healthy: your mentality will team up with your physical strength, which allows long-term results, & ultimately a fit & healthy lifestyle.

How does fitness positively influence your life?

Discovering my strength has given me courage I never thought possible. As a powerlifter, raising the bar is much like life. Challenged daily, I dig deep to channel strength to overcome. Like life, there are good days & difficult ones; each day I choose to be present & face what's ahead. My successful days strengthen my mentality, so that for the hard days mentality can lift my physical strength up. Fitness has influenced me to be more grateful celebrating positives in life & lifting.

If you were the next Ms Health and Fitness, what would you do with $20,000?

It would be an honor and a blessing to be named Ms. Health and Fitness, & I would share that blessing - & extend my passion of living a fit life - to teenagers through a youth program currently in development. This program is designed to equip teens with more emotional intelligence tools to address the complexities of life that they continue to get exposure to at younger & younger ages. It's my mission to lift these children to their fullest potential!
