What would you recommend to others who want to be fit and healthy?

What we put in our bodies each day is so important. If you fuel your body with clean food, protein, a good carb, & healthy fats you will see a big change in how you feel. Excercise is key to keeping our bodies healthy & strong, not to mention for mental health, it helps relieve stress, depression & fatigue Excercise is vital to life longevity!! It is definitely a life style choice. When you stay consistent eating clean, and exercising its becomes part of your daily routine!!

How does fitness positively influence your life?

When my sons left for the Air force & other Navy, I went through a very rough time of empty nest syndrome. To the point of where I thought I needed counseling. Until I read other moms blogs & realized everything I was feeling was natural and that excercise was the best medicine! I hired a personal trainer just to "get in shape" then she introduced me to competing. I fell in love w/ the sport and was amazed how much healthier I felt and the changes I see in my physic w/ fitness.

If you were the next Ms Health and Fitness, what would you do with $20,000?

I love to travel so that would probably be first on my list of things to do!! My youngest son is getting married in 2019, I would help there of course! And if I can inspire just one person that may have a fitness goal or would want to compete, and they need help with their goal, it would be very rewarding to financially sponser them. I try to encourage others along their fitness journey. If I have watched them in my gym working hard people like to hear "your doing great"! Inspire them
